Does my family have to be Jewish to attend?

​No, Aleph Bet Children's Center is open to children of all faiths, cultures and nationalities. 

Does Aleph Bet accept State Certificate?

Yes, we gladly work with families and the state to help get you set up for state certificate. You can head to the DHS website to check out the qualifications.

What rating did Aleph Bet receive from the State of Tennessee?

We are proud to be a 3-Star (out of 3) Rated program.

Is there an additional charge for a.m. or p.m. care?

​No. Aleph Bet Children's Center does not charge more money for a.m. or p.m. care. 

What are my scheduling options?

​Pre-K students must attend five days a week starting no later than 9:00 a.m. Younger children may attend two, three, four, or five days a week. Pick up times vary based on family preferences.  

What are the monthly fees to attend?

You will find the Aleph Bet fees are very competitive with 3-Star Rated programs in the area. Please see costs on registration page for details. 

Do children nap at Aleph Bet?

Rest time at Aleph Bet is from approximately 12:30-2:30 p.m.

What months is Aleph Bet open?

Aleph Bet is a year-round program. We close for certain holidays and professional development. Please check our calendar for specific closings.

Is my family required to volunteer at your school?

Families are encouraged, but not required to volunteer.

What are some volunteers' opportunities at Aleph Bet?

Plant and maintain Aleph Bet's gardens

Is Hebrew language taught at Aleph Bet?

Yes! Various volunteers work together with the staff to teach Hebrew, through songs, stories, and games.

Are meals provided at Aleph Bet?

We provide a morning and afternoon snack.  Students bring their own lunches.  Lunches do not have to be kosher, but we do ask that lunches not contain pork or shellfish.  Also, we do ask families to pack tree-nut and peanut free lunches due to allergies.
